In this presentation, Elsa Régnier (IDDRI) and Dr Nina Röhrig (University of Reading) summarise findings of work package 2, discussing the impacts of past EU policies on different sustainability dimensions of the livestock sector, and assessing the current and potential future EU policy framework for livestock. The related report serves as a starting point for the development of a framework to evaluate the sustainability of livestock systems, future scenarios and policies. which can be accessed here.

Introducing the core concepts | PATHWAYS seminar
In this presentation, PATHWAYS co-coordinator Dr Laurence Smith outlines the three core concepts that underpin activities in PATHWAYS: One welfare, Trade-offs and Enabling transition, providing an overview of each concept and how they are being applied in research and innovation. We hope that the presentation helps to provide opportunities for synergy and interaction across tasks and work packages.
