Objectives of WP2:

  • On farm animal welfare assessment tool for dairy goats, presented by Manuel Romero-Huelva, abstract, poster

UNIPI presented a research poster developed within the PATHWAYS project in collaboration with the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL.

Title of the presented poster was: Transition pathways towards a more sustainable food system considering dietary consumer archetypes presented by Selene Righi, abstract, poster

Project partner presented results from PATHWAYS Task 1.2, analysing relationships across environmental, economic, and social dimensions in European extensive livestock systems using the PG tool. Findings highlighted that strong environmental performance can be achieved in both small and large farms with low stocking density, and that diversified land-use systems (e.g. agroforestry, semi-natural grazing) enhance biodiversity, carbon sequestration, and landscape preservation.

Title of the presented poster was: Exploring relationships among different sustainability aspects in innovative livestock systems in Europe presented by Elena Diaz Vicuna, abstract, poster, workshop insights

Poster was titled: Sustainability performance of innovative livestock systems in Europe, presented by Nina Adams, poster

Title of the presented poster was: The role of grasslands in PATHWAYS, presented by Agnes Van den Pol-van Dasselaar, abstract (see page 887), poster
