PATHWAYS Event

Technology for One Welfare

9 October 2024, 11 am (CET)

In the PATHWAYS project, we focus on understanding how human and animal welfare can increase well-being and contribute to a healthier, happier and equitable society.

Considering the EU One Health policy, food safety, and the role of the livestock sector, this event discussed about the modern tools built to ensure that health and welfare are at the core of our transforming food systems.

Speakers included Dengsheng Sun, researcher in animal nutrition, environmental impacts, and welfare, and Oleksiy “Alex” Guzhva, veterinarian and researcher in animal physiology, health, and welfare, both at SLU.

This webinar was facilitated by Jenny Yngvesson, Senior Lecturer in the Departments of Biosystems and Technology and Applied Animal Science and Welfare at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
